Card Making

Meetings are at 2 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month at Leader’s home.
This small friendly group exists to share, promote and learn new skills in card making and paper craft. We aim to inspire each other to produce interesting card creations through ideas retrieved from a variety of sources.
New crafters are very welcome - resources can be provided for a small fee.

We enjoy making all kinds of cards as well as home décor, which so far have included book folding, decorated candles and embellishing slate hearts, etc. We continue to explore new projects.

Quilting

The group meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 14.00 - 16.00 hours at The Elgar Centre, 1A High Street, Upton, NN5 4EN (https://elgarcentre.weebly.com/)
There is a large free car park and the Number 15 bus stops right outside.
It is not necessary to have any quilting/patchwork experience - there are complete beginners and one or two who are very proficient, both hand or machine sewers, although we do tend to hand sew at meetings. We all help one another, exchanging ideas and tips although there is no 'formal' instruction. We have the use of an Accuquilt machine for super accurate fabric cutting, available at the meetings or to borrow
As we have to pay for room hire, there is a charge of £2 per person at each meeting.

We will join the Quilting Group in using this venue, and meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 2.00 to 4.00pm
As we now have to pay for hire of the room there will be a charge of £2.00 per person. We get half price room hire as we are a Charity. There is plenty of room for us all.
New members are welcome and if you are new to the art of Crochet we will help you get started. All levels are invited to join this friendly group

Knit and Natter

We are a group of experienced and not so experienced knitters who enjoy a good natter while knitting. We are all happy to help each other master new patterns and stitches and will welcome old hands or new knitters
It is anticipated we will do our 'own thing' for most of the meeting and maybe do a group project for a short time. We meet 2nd and 4th Thursdays 10.30-12.30.
