Have a look at pictures of our recent u3a Day event in Abington Park on 2nd June 2021, where some groups mounted displays and told people about their activities.

Membership is open to anyone who is no longer in full time employment, who wants to broaden their experience through sharing or learning new skills, and make new friends. We are a self-help organisation, learning and teaching together, with over 125 interest groups covering

• Arts and Crafts;
• History;
• Literature and Language;
• Music and Dance;
• Social, Food & Drink, Well-being;
• Science, Nature, Horticulture;
• Sports and Pastimes;
• Discussion.

We organize monthly meetings with interesting speakers, social events, day trips to explore places of interest. There is something for everyone and if you have a special interest which others would enjoy we will try to set up a new group. Please browse through our GROUPS to see what we do. Some groups are currently suspended because of Corona virus, but many are meeting either virtually or outdoors.

We are part of a national organization, the Third Age Trust, which provides, additional benefits to members, such as courses and events.

Lifelong learning is available at Northampton u3A groups, but also through MOOCs.
