Our group have been meeting for many years, we would love to have some more members so please come along and find out what we do.
We meet in the Library at 10.00am on the 4th Thursday of each month January to November. Each month one of us gives a talk on a
pre-agreed theme. Last year the theme was, 'Celebrations and Disasters' where we had talks on, the Stowmarket Guncotton Explosion, Pompeii, the 1951 Festival of Britain. This year our theme is, 'Companies and Mysteries' and we are looking forward to talks on, Kodak, Parker Pens, Ercol and a Murder Mystery. We also have a Christmas lunch which this year will be in March!
