Outing to Milton Keynes Theatre – 16th november 2016
On a bright sunny but brisk November day we set off from the Church of Our Lady and St. Vincent to see ‘Relatively Speaking’ an Alan Ayckbourn play starring the lovely Liza Goddard and Robert Powell, at the Milton Keynes theatre.
When we arrived in Milton Keynes – in less than an hour travelling time – we had plenty of time to enjoy the huge shopping facilities and refreshment choices all conveniently situated next to the coach park.
‘Curtain-up’ was 2.30 and Liza Goddard was really wonderful at playing the part of a somewhat ‘dumb blonde’ and Robert Powell extremely good at playing the bemused husband suddenly very unsure of how his wife was managing so much secretly in her life.
Altogether a lovely day out and we all thank you Brenda for organising this for us plus the ‘extras’ such as ice-cream in the interval.
Well done and much appreciated.
