Ashburton

Scottish Country Dancing

U3A Scottish Dancing Group

The classes started in September 2015. They are now run every fortnight on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 2pm until 3:30pm in Ashburton Town Hall (small hall). This group will meet during the Autumn, Winter and Spring terms and take a break in the summer term.

We are hoping to introduce people slowly to the fun of Scottish dancing so you will be guided through all the main steps, formations and dance routines. We are not expecting any previous knowledge and our intention is to build up to a few simple dances that everyone can enjoy.
p.s. dancers should wear soft shoes and no loose jewellery.

Janet Morris is the contact for this group, please contact her using the email link on the right hand side of this page
