Tadley & District

Family History

October, both the Cribbage and Family History groups were invited to take part in Tadley Library's open day, which was designed to showcase the activities which take place there.

The place was buzzing and very crowded so unfortunately there was no room for any card playing. On the other hand, four computers were reserved for the Family History Group for four hours so we could talk to anyone who stopped by and show them what we did, research wise.

Judging by the crowds, I suspect the Library staff will be very satisfied with the day.

Otherwise - the two groups continue to flourish, Cribbage in the Library every Monday afternoon and Family History in the Library on the second Wednesday at 2pm until 4pm and The Scout Hall in Tadley on the fourth Wednesday of the month, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
