Family History
Group Leader: Keith Hamm
Venue: Scout Hall, Southdown Rd., Tadley
Time: 4th Wednesday 1400 - 1600
There may be anything from 8 to 20 people at a meeting, and all levels are catered for. Folks new to family history will certainly be able to benefit from the experience of more seasoned researchers. As there is always something new to learn, even the more experienced often go away wiser than they were when they came in. We often have a focus subject, for example, the Census, or Law and Order, with examples of where and how to search. Members are encouraged to bring along details of research successes and when there are problems the combined knowledge of the group can be brought to bear to suggest solutions. New members welcome and the usual sub of £1 is payable each session, from your second visit onwards.
