Dates for your Diary
Outings
Thu Dec 16th A day trip has been arranged to Cardiff Christmas Market, and to provide an opportunity to visit many other attractions. The Market will be held in the Pedestrian Streets of Cardiff City.

Cardiff has an amazing Castle, Museum and Art Gallery. The Gallery contains masterpieces by Monet, Daumier and Van Gogh. If you are interested in visiting the Museum or Gallery, entry is free. It is also the home to the Principality (formerly the Millennium) Stadium famous for Rugby and Football. There is a very famous fish market renowned for a fabulous array of fresh fish. Our visit will take place to coincide with the famous Christmas Market.

The cost of this day is £17, to include coach fare and driver’s gratuity. The coach will leave South Road Car Park at 9.00 a.m. and return from Cardiff at 4.00 p.m. (We will aim to be back in Midsomer Norton by 6.00 p.m.)

Thu Nov 25th BASIC FIRST AID TRAINING

Kathyrn Clements from the Red Cross contacted me to offer a session of Basic First aid training.
This would last for approx. 90 minutes and uses photos, video clips and group discussion to introduce people to a variety of emergency situations and the correct response to them.
It would be suitable either as an introduction to first aid or to refresh people’s knowledge.
The session would be held on Thursday 25th November at 10.00 at the Somer Centre.
A minimum of 10 people is required.
A further course next year could be arranged if there is sufficient interest.
Please contact Andy Green on 01761 410026 if interested.
