Petanque, sometimes known as Boules, is a French game in which the player throws metal balls in the air to try to get as close as possible to a small ball known as the jack. Simple stuff. We play for fun and don't take the game too seriously.
We meet at the Seven Wives Pub, Ramsey Road, St Ives on Tuesday morning at 10:30AM.
If you don't have your own boules there is usually a spare set available. There is a £2 charge to play and £1 for tea or coffee. You may buy other drinks if you wish.
