Science Technology & Engineering for all
Our lives are increasingly controlled by Science, Technology & Engineering; so more & more people know less & less about how things actually work.
The aim of the meetings is to de-mystify some of the Science & Technology that surrounds us, in a relaxed discussion group over a cup of coffee or a pint. We aim to be of interest to all levels of knowledge.
We encourage speakers, if possible, to take questions within their presentation ( it often clarifies things, aids digestion of facts & keeps both speaker & group alert ), as well as at the end.
Venue… Normally held on Wednesdays 6.45pm for a promt 7 pm start in The Valley Hotel. Next to Valley traffic lights; A5 / A5025: (come off A55 @ Junc 3 )
