Talking About Art
Name of group: Talking About Art (TAA)
Purpose of the Group: We meet to discuss all varieties of art such as we see around us and in our local galleries. Mainly paintings but also sculpture, architecture, gardens and almost anything.
We have a lively and interesting group of members. You do NOT have to be an expert but you might be after a few months with us!
Day/Times of meetings: 1st Monday of the month at 1pm.
Venue: usually Newcastle u3a Pink Lane Meeting Room 2 and on Zoom.
Meeting subs £1 per meeting which includes tea / coffee and biscuits.

Taster sessions: Prospective members or existing members visiting for the first time, please contact Group Leader. Taster sessions are free.
The next meeting is
Monday 3rd June at 1pm in R2 of Pink Lane meeting rooms. NO MEETINGS APRIL AND MAY AS THE FIRST MONDAYS ARE BANK HOLIDAYS
HOWEVER, don't miss out. There will be Northumbria Region u3a tours of the amazing 'Turner: Art, Industry and Nostalgia' exhibition at the Laing Art Gallery in May and others to follow
