Our programme includes illustrated talks by group members or guest speakers, guided walks and visits to local places of interest. Our indoor meetings take place at the Hawthorns. If they so wish members are able to get involved in researching aspects of the history of the area and to share their findings and relevant personal experiences with the group. A charge of £1.50 is made for refreshments. In addition to the cost for refreshments we make a charge of 50p to cover our running costs which include paying for outside speakers, making a total of £2 per session. If you wish to join this group please contact the study group leader. Details are in the study booklet.
