u3a Latin Group - working on Zoom at the moment
In normal times, we meet twice a month on Monday afternoons in Frampton Cotterell (usually 1st and 3rd). If you have always regretted that you didn’t get a chance to learn Latin or if perhaps you learned some many years ago and would like to take it up again, you can!
We use the Cambridge Latin course which concentrates on reading Latin (rather than translating into it, which we all agonised over all those years ago); the vocabulary too is very different - gone are the endless battles of Caesar's Gallic Wars. I will hope to start a new group in the not too distant future so please contact me, if you are interested.
