Scottish Dancing

Scottish Dancing
• Scottish Country Dancing is a great way to meet new people and exercise mind and body at the same time!
• The Group began in May 2016 as a result of a request from a couple of Grantham U3A members. We meet each week on Tuesday afternoons
(2-4pm) in Grantham Squash Club, apart from the third Tuesday of the month when there is a Grantham U3A Monthly meeting. We have a
break in the middle for a drink and a chat.
• We have been learning reels, jig and strathspeys as well as the steps and formations needed for the dances. You need some soft comfortable
shoes, and there is a small charge to cover the cost of hiring the room. You do not need a partner.
• We have space for a few more dancers, so if you would like to give it a try, please get in touch with John Aitken - Telephone: 01476 577599 or email via the Group Co-ordinator on the Contact Button at the top of the website.
