German Language
This is a twice monthly class, on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays at 2-4pm in the Lesser Hall at Sale Moor Community Centre. It is suitable for people with a reasonable working knowledge of the German language. Our group members have different backgrounds and reasons for wanting to improve their knowledge and use of the language. We enjoy reading and discussing varied texts from current affairs, literature and poetry. We enjoy conversations involving our own experiences. We also revise and improve our knowledge and use of grammar.
A sense of humour pervades our approach to the sessions and homework; we sing , tell jokes and generally keep things light-hearted. At the end of term we make time for an old German tradition - ‘Kaffee und Kuchen’.
If this looks like your cup of tea, or should we say Tasse Tee, then just come along and have a go!
