All members of Redbridge & District u3a are welcome to attend our open meetings held on the last Monday of every month except December. If the last Monday of the month is a bank holiday (May and August), the meeting will be held on the Monday before.

A presentation by Jef Page on Ilford's medical services from 1800 to the NHS around 2000. Jef is the Chairman and President of Ilford Historical Society.
MONDAY 20th MAY at 2.00 pm at WANSTEAD LIBRARY: DANNY KAYE - THE KING JESTER
Danny Kaye was an actor, dancer, musician and comedian, starring in 17 films. But did you know he was also a Chinese chef, symphony orchestra conductor, baseball team owner and a jet pilot? Judy Karbritz will tell us all there is to know about Danny Kaye.

A talk by artist and author Linda Nissen Samuels about her father Jack Nissenthall, an overlooked and undervalued war hero who was involved in the development of radar before and during WW2 and who took part in the Dieppe Raid.
