Family History

When - 4th Thursday each month at 10-11am - for dates CLICK on Calendar above

Where - Wharton Library, Willow Square, CW7 3HP

Co-ordinator - Brenda

Encouraged by the BBC's programme "˜So who do you think you are?", family history research is arguably the most popular pastime today. The aim of our sessions is to give people who have had no experience of researching their family histories knowledge of sources dating back to the 17th century, but those who have already made some progress are also welcome.

We meet in Wharton Library where we have access to a computer suite with 10 computers - information can be downloaded to aid further research at home. Attendance is on a flexible basis - please book your individual computer with the library in advance of the meeting.

All Cheshire Libraries now have Find My Past, in addition to Ancestry.

Join us & learn how to research your family history!
