Ursula Parker, a German lady who has lived in England for many years, ran the German Conservation for many years.
We are fortunate that a Swiss Lady Esther has taken over the running of the group.

| Mon May 13th | German Meeting at 1 p.m. until 3:00p.m. on the second Monday of the month in Back on the Map (former Hendon Library), Villette Road n.b. Note the New Time and New Location. Some of the discussion on the subject indicated in the Group Header which for May 2024 is A Country." A Drink of Tea or Coffee is provided by Back on the Map or Please Bring your own Drink if you might need one. Pre pandemic the larger groups generated a surplus which supported the smaller groups breaking even each year, however this is no longer the case, therefore The Executive Committee has reached the difficult decision to raise all door fees to £2 from 1st January 2022. This will be kept under review at every Executive Committee Meeting. If you wish to attend the next Committee Meeting as an observer please contact Christa Lloyd, Business Secretary, to arrange this. |
