Horncastle

History

The History Group, formed in 2008, continues to meet 2pm – 4pm at the Methodist Hall, Queen Street, Horncastle, LN9 6BD on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

In the main I have spoken about matters impinging upon people’s lives in Horncastle/Lincolnshire, during the early/mid 19th century, whereas Sheila Jonkers has concentrated mostly on local issues during the same period.

All members of U3A are welcome to attend our afternoons. There are no exams and you need not know anything about history, so there are no tricky questions. Just turn up!
