LATEST NEWS
The Ukulele group is now nearly in its 10th year. We will be celebrating our 10th Birthday on the 25th April. We have had a great journey over the last 10 years, growing from an initial membership of 15 to over 60. We have much to be thankful for. At the moment our group is full so we have a waiting list in operation.
*********************************

Not only is it good for your fingers and your brain but playing the Ukulele is great fun. Our Thursday morning session is most enjoyable and we always leave with a sense of having made progress as we have usually played something new or played old favourites much better!

Although we are not a singing group, singing along is part of the fun and enjoyment and we now visit outside groups and perform sing-a-long sessions which have proved to be most successful. In true U3A style we are a group sharing what we know and encouraging each other to play and improve our skills. Our group has grown and we now have over 60 members.

Whilst new members are welcome we now have a waiting list until further notice. You don't have to be able to read music or have played a musical instrument before. All you need is a ukulele and be willing to put in some practice as we take you through our beginners program.
