Science & Technology

The Group Leaders are Sue Marten and Stuart Forbes

The Science & Technology Group meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 2:00pm in room 9, ground floor of the Fairfield & Howley Community Centre.

We discuss and have presentations on topical scientific and technical matters. As our group consists of people with both a scientific and non-scientific background, we do not delve too deeply into the technical nitty-gritty of the subjects, which allows everyone to participate.

We are currently limited to 20 attendees, so please either send a message or email Sue Marten if you wish to book a place at the next meeting. We are also attempting to run the meeting on zoom in parallel, however the success of this is limited by the quality of the internet access at Fairfield.
