Classical History

Group Leader is Stephen Smith

Classical History Group meetings are held in the Hatton Room at the Masonic Hall on Winmarleigh Street unless circumstances require that a meeting be held online. Notification will be issued via a member's email address prior to the due date (together with instructions for joining the online meetings, if applicable).

The meeting is usually held on the first Monday of the month, except when that day is before an ‘Opening-Up’ meeting or a Bank Holiday, in which case it will be moved to the 3rd Monday of the month. Meetings will commence at 1.30pm, and we plan to finish by 3.30pm.

Tea and coffee are available, for which a charge of £1.20 is made.

The aims of the group are to delve into history in a relaxed and friendly manner.

A programme of events for 2023/24 is being assembled and will be updated in due course.
