Grange & District

General History

The Group chooses and follows an historical theme which changes approximately annually. Each member chooses a topic relating to that theme and prepares a talk to give to the group. We then follow that up with a discussion (over a cuppa) which can branch out into other related matters. We meet in a people's houses on the first Thursday of each month at 2.00 pm. Subjects can be drawn from any time in history to a person, event or other topic.

Add Our current “theme” is based on aspects of significant change or "revolutions" and this is covering social and economic changes as well as political ones.
