The Local History Group is currently in a lull due to falling numbers of attendees and suitable topics. We started the group in 2014 and our first project concerned the effects of WW1 on local communities. Since we are approaching the 100th anniversary of the end of the war I am considering holding some meetings and perhaps have the group attend some of the commemorative events which will be taking place locally and in the Central Belt. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact Tom.
