Preston & District U3A

Registered Charity No. 1141371

Chairman: Betty Stevens Telephone: 01772 313008

The Preston and District U3A started in June 2007 with fewer than 30 members and is proving an attraction to people in Preston and surrounding areas as is shown by rapid growth in both membership numbers and Interest Groups.

We aim to provide educational, social and leisure opportunities for retired people or those near retirement age.

Why not join us? You will be able attend our talks, participate in any number of our 59 Interest Groups, go on visits, attend our varied additional events programme. You can attend two meetings (either a monthly meeting or group meeting of your choice) before deciding whether to join us. (You will pay the normal £2.00 entry charge, which covers the cost of accommodation). You will be made most welcome.

All members can take advantage of our FREE CD and DVD libraries and borrow up to four items over a two month period.

If you wish to join us you can download an application form by clicking on “Application Form” (listed under links on the right-hand side of this page). Send the completed form with your cheque for £15, made payable to Preston and District U3A, to the address at the bottom of the form.
