Shoreham Community Centre 1st Monday of the Month 14.00-16.00
You might be a long-standing resident with memories of your own or a relative newcomer wishing to learn about the area but together we will explore not only Shoreham and Southwick but also Worthing, Brighton, Hove and Portslade too. There will also be times when we will “travel” throughout Sussex as a whole.
Any member wishing to undertake a presentation of their own will be fully supported and all members will be encouraged to undertake a little research of their own - perhaps a person, a place, a building, an event, an activity or a period in time.

February 3rd 2020
Roger Gumbrell will relate to us The History of Shoreham Rowing Club.
March 2nd 2020
Various members will present Sussex Murders.
April 6th 2020
Glen Minford will talk about The Music, Fashion and Youth
Culture of 1960's/1970's Brighton and beyond.
May 4th 2020
Following on from our January meeting members are invited to
visit The Museum of Gardening, South Downs Heritage Centre.
An Afternoon Tea will be organised and transport will be organised.
June 1st 2020
Ray Richards will present "Southwick North to South, more than
5000 years of History".
July 6th 2020
Rosemary Barlow will talk about The History of Middle Street and Ros
Hamblett will talk about The history of Longcroft.
