As most of you know photos are very often taken at our monthly meeting and in group meetings and outings etc. If you do not want to have your photo taken please speak to the person taking the photo - often Laurence Tobin - or to Ann Long.

Sun Sep 8th →Mon Sep 16th	Holiday	{Berlin Sunday 8 September to Monday 16 September 2024. I am Jane Crumpton-Taylor and I organise Holidays, (and the Architecture and Art Visits Groups) for Sudbury u3a. It has been a while since we organised a trip abroad and this one is, we think, rather special. We are opening this holiday to members of other local u3as with no extra charge We have an all-inclusive price which includes travel by coach from Sudbury* to Berlin with overnight stop at Cologne and returning via Aachen. Included: Buffet breakfast and evening dinner 8 nights. 49 Seater coach from Sudbury direct to resort. Guided excursions and entrances included: city tour of Cologne, orientation tour of Berlin, visit to Hohenschonhausen Museum and Memorial, visit to the modernist housing estates, 3 Day Berliner Welcome Card, visit to Bauhaus at Dessau, visit of the Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen, entrance to the Jewish Museum, tour of Aachen, services of a courier throughout. Not included: lunches, coach driver's tip. Inclusive Cost: £1,941 per person- no single supplement. Deposit: £60 Per person. It is essential to have Holiday insurance, which justforgroups can provide for this trip only at £23 per person. The holiday is provided by justforgroups, part of the UK Holiday Group, members of ABTA and licensed by the CAA providing financial security and peace of mind. Sudbury u3a have used this organisation for many years. All payments will be made to justforgroups either by cheque or bank transfer. Pickups will be in Sudbury. We can help with parking in Sudbury. We have double, twin rooms and single rooms available. Send no money at this stage until your booking is confirmed, when you will be sent a justforgroups booking form.
