Floral Images Around Halesworth
Dog walking takes Jan Athis on various paths around Halesworth, allowing her to see some “Photo Opportunities”. She whips her phone from her pocket and “click” – memory captured, especially when the sun shines! The camellias were growing on a house wall in Quay Street; the cherries were on Walpole Road verge. The dandelions, stitchwort, borage and what she thinks is cowbane, were on paths around Holton (borage flowers frozen into ice cubes makes a delightful addition to summer drinks). The cowslip is one of the hundreds blooming in the back part of the Cemetery (cemeteries are always good for wildlife!). All photos by Jan.
