March

All That Jazz

This Group was previously known as Jazz Appreciation. It attempts to bring together those with an interest in the wide variety of styles within the music. Its aim is to develop and broaden that interest in a friendly, sociable atmosphere.

We have a variety of tastes between us ranging from early New Orleans to 'Trad' and modern jazz. Typically members are asked to bring music of their choice, usually with a common theme, to play, often on YouTube, and discuss. This usually provides variety at the meeting.

The venue is normally the home of one of the members with the host providing light refreshment during the two hour session.
