HISTORY

Our History Group meets on the first Friday of the month at Exning Rd Club at 2.30pm.

Talks are on wide-ranging subjects with something for everyone.

Time limitations of Zoom mean that presentations may stretch over two consecutive sessions, with a brief interval break.

2024 --
Friday 2nd February- A few of the group spoke about their Exning research and it proved very interesting .Thank you. Please read our article linked right

Friday March 1st -a presentation on the Development of Theatres.

Friday April 5th- A talk called " A Pinch of Salt" in which we take a look at this vital but everyday commodity.

On Tuesday 16th April we are having a joint outing with WWW Group to Coventry Transport Museum.There are two seats remaining and if interested please email me or Tim Young.

Friday May 3rd - Vernacular Architecture, taking a look at regional differences in buildings across Britain.
