Astronomy
The Astronomy Group is part of u3a Hamilton and has been running for 18 months. The leader is Peter Grover who has a lifelong interest in the subject.
Members of the group contribute a variety of topics from their personal research. There is also an update on any current astronomical phenomena or space events.
The group meets once monthly on ZOOM, on every second Friday afternoon from 2.30-3.30 pm and occasional outings may be organised for visiting places of astronomical interest.
The Group was on hold over the summer and will restart in September.
