German Conversation Group
German Conversation Group: Formed in the late Winter of 2015 by Chris the small Conversation Group has as yet a quite informal format. It comprises uniquely of almost fluent German speakers including a couple of native Germans. We have no formal structure to our meetings and this is just an opportunity for folk to talk almost about what they will. This seems to work fine and structure will/would only be introduced as and when found necessary in the future. We have 6 regular attendees and could possibly accept one or two more.
The sessions are generally very informal and relaxed occasions.
Conversation Group means now folk with as a minimum quite a bit of academic experience with German and/or a longer period of living in Germany with an active interest in improving use of the language. Providing we have space in the Group, then someone with somewhat lesser experience will doubtless be accommodated.
Both the Learners’ and the Conversation sessions are generally very informal and relaxed occasions.
