Line Dancing
Line Dancing with a contemporary twist!
Traditional and individually unique line dances are choreographed by the tutor. The music is a good mix of country, rock and roll and popular music. Dancing is very good for physical exercise and well being. We aim to have fun whilst keeping fit and active.

We are a small group who meet twice a month to line dance together. We are not experts and part of the fun is learning together and making things up as we go. Nicki, who leads the group is not an experienced line dancer but tries to choreograph dances that offer opportunities to both practise the steps and make us feel as if we are improving.
All the basic line dancing steps are taught and incorporated into the dances. We then put the dances together bit by bit, step by step so that we can learn the routine.
We regularly practise dances we have learnt so that it becomes easier to remember. We have a good giggle when we go wrong and it never matters because it’s all part of the learning process.
It’s also good to challenge ourselves and learn new steps and dances.
As the hall is small, numbers are restricted so that we can maintain our distance.
You are welcome to come and join us for a taster session to see if you like it before making any commitment. We have room for a couple more dancers.
