BJD u3a Monthly Meetings Summary
- On the 2nd Tuesday of every month we hold our monthly meeting for all our 350 + members.
- The meetings are held at Burton Joyce and Bulcote Village Hall, NG14 5EY
- The meetings start at 1.45 pm ;members are asked to be seated in good time to avoid disruption.

The very popular and funny Paula Cornwell returns , in character and period dress , in a presentation set in 1930.
“ Go up in one of those instruments of torture ! You”ll kill yourself “ she shrieked when I told her of my plans to fly around the world in an open- cockpit light aircraft.
“But it’s 1930” I said “ Soon everyone will be flying”
This very amusing presentation looks at how the Hon Mrs Victor Bruce prepared for the new flight and a fascinating insight into her adventures
