Church Stretton

Scottish Country Dancing

Meetings are held at the URC Hall, High Street, Church Stretton, SY6 6BY on Wednesdays from 2–4pm.

Parking is available.
There is a bus stop, for the 435 service, outside the hall.

Sessions are £2 towards the cost of the hall.

We are a mixed ability group and new members are always welcomed. You don’t need a partner, just a soft soled pair of shoes and a willingness to join in. More experienced dancers will help you if you are a beginner.
Dancing includes a variety of Jigs, Reels and Strathspeys.

Research has shown that Scottish dancing is a fun activity for new and experienced dancers of all ages. It improves physical fitness and general mental wellbeing. It also provides an opportunity to make new friends.
Come along for a free taster session to find out more.
