Read and share group
This friendly group was established in February 2020 by u3a members who expressed a desire to share the joy of:
Reading books or other literature
Informal discusion about literature
A desire to share their enjoyment of reading with others.
At each meeting members bring one or more books, plays, poems, or audio books to discuss and later exchange their items with others. At each meeting a variety of genres of literature are discussed for example crime novels, autobiography, drama, science fiction. Members are free to bring whatever literature is of interest to them. Members often find they are introduced to authors they had not previously encountered.
Come along to any meeting to see if this would suit you. We would love to see you and will make you very welcome.
Meetings
1st Monday of every month at 1.30pm
Meetings last between one and two hours
Venue is Hartwood Hall Hotel, Preston Rd., Chorley, PR6 7AX. This has ample parking and is on the 125 bus route.
