Literary Appreciation 1
We meet 11.00am - 12.30 at the Wesley Church Centre
All members of the group contribute to the cost of the Venue
A Cafe is available but there is no formal arrangement
Each member chooses a book and then presents their book for discussion
We use Beacon to communicate to our members
The group have 15 members at the moment which seems to be about maximum for the room
Members take turns to choose and introduce a book, ranging from 19th century classics, through modern classics, to recent well-reviewed novels. We meet on 3rd Fridays at 11am at the Wesley Methodist Church Centre, St John's Street.
There is an excellent review of ‘The. Odd Women’ by George Gissing provided by one the the group members.
