Penderyn Distillery

Away Days visit to the Penderyn Distillery, August 15th, 2019

Twenty three fun lovers arrived at the only distillery in Wales for the start of a guided tour, ably undertaken by the very knowledgeable Lauren. The process uses water from the nearby hills and grain from Brains Brewery in Cardiff. The group were treated to sample two choices of drinks or take a small bottle home. Having no facilities for refreshments, we travelled 10 miles up the valley to Nant Ddu Hotel in the heart of the Beacons for lunch, followed by a quick stop at Storey Arms to admire the stunning views.
We returned home via Brecon and Abergavenny through beautiful countryside.
