We encourage you to come along and try out our U3A before you join. However, you can't be a prospective member for ever so you are limited to a maximum of two visits to either our Tuesday Live or to one of our Activity Groups. After this you must become a member in order to continue to take part in our activities.
WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP COST?
- Membership is £10.00 and runs for twelve months from 1st April to 31st March the following year. However, if new members join between January and March, your subscriptions will last until a year the following March.
- Once you become a member you can join as many groups as you wish but each group may have their own individual charges to cover their costs such as room hire, equipment costs etc. The Convener of each group will give you these details when you join the group.
- If you are a member of another U3A then you are required to join Chepstow U3A as well but you will pay a reduced rate of £6.50 as you will already have paid the £3.50 fee to the Third Age Trust (to which all U3As must be a member) as part of your membership at your original U3A. When joining or renewing and paying the reduced membership, please tell us the name of your other U3A.

|1.||Join by EFT||Join on Line by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Please use this if you can but you have to be using Internet Banking from your personal Banking Account.|
|2.||Join at a Meeting||Download the Membership Form - PDF and take the completed form with cash or cheque to a Monthly Meetings or Coffee Morning.|
|3.||Join by Post||Download the Membership Form - PDF and send the completed form with your cheque to the membership secretary - address at the top of the page.|

EXISTING MEMBERS - How to Renew your Membership
You can renew your membership from the middle of January onwards. If you have not renewed by the June monthly meeting you will receive a reminder. After that, it will be assumed that you no longer wish to be a member and at the end of June your membership will lapse and you will be removed from our database. You can renew your membership as follows:
|1.||By EFT||Click on Electronic Payment of Subscriptions. This is our preferred payment method but you have to be using Internet Banking from your personal Banking Account.|
|2.||At a Meeting||Go to a Monthly Meetings or Coffee Morning where you will be able to pay by cash or cheque.|
|3.||By Post||Send a cheque together with a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of your membership card (if you want one) to the membership secretary at the address at the top of the page.|
