Ukulele

The Ukulele Group ("Offa's Tykes") - Convener: Janet Whiteman 01291 408516

The Ukulele Group first met on the 5th February 2014 and we have enjoyed learning and improving our skills over that time. We are a friendly lively group, playing a wide variety of music and songs. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month to enjoy playing together, and we give two performances a year (Christmas and summer) to various groups including local primary schools, care homes, Mencap, and Probus. If you are interested in joining us, and are fairly proficient on the ukulele, we now have a couple of spare places.
The Ukulele Group performs under the name of the Offas Tykes Ukulele Band - click here to see Video Compilations of our performances! Also do visit our Jansuke Web Site and the Offas Tykes Ukulele Band Website !

Ukulele for Beginners
The Beginners' Ukulele Group met for the first time on 23 January 2019. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, from 2.30 to 4pm, in Chepstow Methodist Church Hall.
We think we have the makings of a happy and friendly group who will enjoy playing and singing together and developing an increasingly wide variety of songs. Should you be interested in learning how to play the ukulele and being part of that group, please get in touch; we have a few spare places.
