From the discovery of the spa waters in 1716 Cheltenham soon acquired a reputation for entertainment, sport and culture. Former MD at the Racecourse and now Chair of the Music Festival, Edward Gillespie, will explore this subject, with music from each period performed by the brilliant “Severn 3”.
