Chelmsford

People who have retired from full time work have much more life to live!

For many, retirement takes some getting used to. Leaving a community of co-workers and work friends can be disorientating and the loss of the working week structure can make it seem that retirement is like a “great empty space”!  That’s often why people carry on working part-time or volunteer for their favourite charity.

Chelmsford u3a offers a different way of plugging that gap.   Our members believe in life-long learning and they achieve this by forming  self-help Interest Groups covering a wide range of topics and activities. Our meetings and  social events ensure that everyone feels included, has the chance to  make new friends and enjoy themselves.  Find out more about the Chelmsford u3a and the wider u3a movement below.

Chelmsford u3a is a registered Charity and our aim is to provide the opportunity for retired and semi-retired people  to come together to  share their skills and learn for fun.
