OUR NEXT EVENT ~ Monday morning 21st JANUARY 2019 ... from The COCK INN at IDE HILL on the Greensand Ridge.

Our briefing email will be issued on FRIDAY beforehand.
We now have FIVE members booked in to walk as at Thursday evening (i.e. before the email briefing has been issued)...booked through our closed facebook group or via email or whatsapp messaging.

Booking in will CLOSE at 7pm on Sunday 20th January; and the venue will then be advised of our lunch numbers (max 15 places currently).

We offer you an event in the west of KENT, from the picturesque village of IDE HILL on the Greensand Ridge. This is close to Brasted on the A25, found just to the east of TOYS HILL & the NT's Emmet's Gardens.

So many trails to choose in this area ~ this time we will be on a roughly circular route to the north-east into the edge of the Montreal Estate. This will be a gradually rolling 4.6-mile ramble. We will be ascending approx. 520 feet in total (not all at once).

We will be meeting and walking from the car park behind THE COCK INN by Ide Hill Green ~ where Camberwell Lane leaves the main route through the community.

MEETING TIME : At Latest 9:45 for a 10am walk start.
We will be complete and back to the cars in the car park at approx. 12:15.

Refreshments available afterwards : YES ~ ordering after our walk, when we arrive at the Bar for lunchtime.

This event is offered for Caterham U3A Walking Group & Nordic Walking Groups (combined) by Oakleafe Surrey (& Sussex) Rambling & Nordic Walking. This Guided Ramble will be led by Nigel ( assisted by ISLA ) ... and we will be setting off at latest 10am from the car park.
Friendly dogs are very welcome to join in ~ with owners usually on a lead.

At the moment we have 15 places pencilled in for us for those dining.

ALL OAKLEAFE HALF-DAY events, be they Rambling or Nordic, have a standard subscription : £5 per person per event.
