Local Flora and Fauna

Would you like to be able to identify more wildflowers?

Are you interested in learning more about our local wildlife?

We are aiming to do just that by going for strolls of about 2-3 miles in the local countryside and trying to identify flowers and other wildlife.

Although wildflowers are our main focus we are also interested in looking at butterflies, fungi, mammals and birds.

We meet once a month but slightly more frequently in peak wildflower season. We generally meet on a Tuesday morning but the day can vary.

All are welcome to join us but if there is anyone with specialist knowledge that they can pass on to the rest of us we would be really pleased to hear from you!

If you would like to join the group or to find out more, please contact the Group Leader using the link at the top of the page.
