Carlton & Gedling

French Conversation

ABOUT THE GROUP
Convenor:Annabell Bell-Boule
Meet:Mapperley Golf Club10:00am on 1st and 3rd Mondays

We have 2 French groups, this French Conversation group and a French Beginners group. The two groups meet on alternate Mondays.

The group has grown in the past year, and everyone tries to do 'homework', that is to say, to look at French video (usually 8 minutes long) and listen to a French podcast (30 minutes long). This isn't a requirement, of course not, but improvement comes along with practice, and it's amazing just how much fluency-progress everyone has made.

We are even contemplating our freedom and discussing visiting Gedling BC partners (via Reims for Champagne!!) in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy.

We always welcomes new members to this thriving, dynamic and friendly group.
