or how to join Cardiff U3A
The University of the Third Age (U3A) movement is a unique and exciting organisation which provides opportunities for retired and semi-retired people to come together to enjoy good company and to learn together, not for qualifications, but for its own reward.
You are very welcome to come along to a Monthly General Meeting when there is a talk followed by refreshments. These meetings are held in the Masonic Hall in Guildford Crescent on the second Tuesday of the month at 2:00pm. and give new and potential members chance to get together with a couple of the committee members so they can find out more about U3A. Details of the Speakers are on the web site and for a first attendance there is no charge.
You are welcome to try a couple of taster sessions of our activity groups meetings, details are on the web site but please contact the Group leader before going to their meeting to let them know to expect you. You will be charged a small fee at some groups to cover the session costs.
