Country Dancing

Country Dance
In 1712 Country Dance was said to be a modest and beautiful exercise, a pleasant and innocent diversion if modestly used and if performed at a convenient time by suitable company. We believe this still holds true, so our aim is to learn the many figures that make up folk dancing in this country and bring them together with the music.

For 2019, a new format for this activity has been introduced at St Stephens Church Hall, Bideford Way, Cannock, under the kind leadership of Vicky Baker from Stafford U3A. Those interested should just turn up at St Stephens on most* Wednesdays at 1.30. Alternatively get in touch with any committee member by phone or via our Contact page.
