Gardening
The Gardening group meets once a month on the third Monday at 2.00 pm.
The focus is on learning about plants, how to grow them and gardening in general. We make the occasional garden visit. Most members grow both ornamental plants and vegetables. You do not need a garden to belong, just an interest in plants.
Members have swapped plants (tomatoes) and often go home with a cutting or seeds of a desirable plant.
Our meeting on Monday 18 October 2021 will focus on “what has done well in your garden this year”. You can choose both fruit, veg and ornamentals or for example a hanging basket that you particularly liked. Please let me know if you are coming or not. Plenty of parking on the street.
