Friday Walking Group
There are currently 27 members of the group and we walk on the first and third Friday of the month. We arrive at a designated pub at 09.45 to park and hand in our lunch menu choices before beginning our walk at 10.00. This is usually around 4-5 miles. Each member of the group takes a turn at designing and leading a walk. The walks are usually within a radius of 15 miles or so of Castle Cary (though we have been as far as Portland and Bath) and end, for those able to stay, with a convivial meal and chat at the pub.
