We meet Tuesday afternoons (2pm prompt - 5pm) at Dursley Methodist Church (please note change of venue). Beginners and improvers, as well as competent players, are all welcome.
Those new to the game are quickly assimilated, as the best way to learn is to play, albeit with help on hand. Members share transport. We usually play about 15 hands during the course of the afternoon; these hands are duplicated so we can see how different pairs have fared, which is all part of gaining experience and improving one's game. Tea and biscuits provided at half-time.
So, plan for something to do on Tuesday afternoons, exercise the grey cell, learn a new skill and join our friendly group, if only to put off the Alzheimers! You may want to play in the Charity Bridge Drives that are held regularly, join a bridge club and go on the play inter-club and county bridge!
Group leader is Richard Gwyer. You can e-mail Richard using the blue bird on the right, or ring him on 01453 860512, if you would like more details or are interested in joining us.
Brief details of any forthcoming meetings, outings and one-off activities will be listed below.
