Dowsing for beginners
Have you heard of DOWSING? All you need is a pair of dowsing rods and an enquiring mind.
The ancient art of dowsing is seen in cave paintings in Algeria dating from 6000BC. Originally it was used to find water, a major need in those days, but today we can ask our rods anything, from archaeology, to health and healing as long as we phrase our questions for a Yes or No answer.
When you’ve learned the basics you could visit local sites, such as Coaley Peak long barrow, local churches or wells or even Avebury. Free rods would be provided for your use on the day.
The Dowsing for beginners group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 10-30am at Dursley Methodist Church. You can contact the group leader (Ali and Steve Bloomfield) by clicking on the blue bird.
